Types of Sentences

     This lesson was created and developed to assist first,  second and third grade students to identify four types of sentences.

       Objective: The students will be able to identify the four different types of sentences: statement, command, question and exclamation. The student will practice by adding the correct punctuation mark to the end of the sentence and be able to check their answers with the magic magnifying glass. Next, the students will practice writing the four types of sentences. Finally as an optional reinforcement the student may link to a game to practice the four different types of sentences.
