      This weekly activity bundle was designed for use with grades 3-5. Skilled Based Mini-Lessons Using Google Slides for Historical Fiction helps you to  provide direct  skills based instruction to your students through distance learning for small or large group instruction.The product includes 6 different Interactive mini lessons with detailed lesson plans that will guide your students into delving deeper into text, synthesizing and citing text evidence in their responses. Week 1, Students will develop skills in reading comprehension by: Previewing Historical Fiction, Background Knowledge, KWL Chart, Ask and Answer Questions, Summarizing, stop, think, & write, Historical Fact/ Fiction timeline, and a Writing Prompt. You can customize the number of slides and provide your own text and reading materials to the lessons.

   The file can be assigned through Google classroom or other desktop applications you might use. The file will print onto 8.5x11 or can be downloaded as a PowerPoint Presentation.
