This file is an interactive digital activity/poster using google slides. Star student of the week is a fun way to get to know your students and It gives each student a chance to shine and share more about themselves. There are editable text that the student can fill out their favorite color, food, and sport. The student can upload a picture of themselves and their family or draw a picture. The student can also add their favorite book. You can print a 8.5 x 11 keepsake copy for your student.

Types of Sentences

     This lesson was created and developed to assist first,  second and third grade students to identify four types of sentences.

       Objective: The students will be able to identify the four different types of sentences: statement, command, question and exclamation. The student will practice by adding the correct punctuation mark to the end of the sentence and be able to check their answers with the magic magnifying glass. Next, the students will practice writing the four types of sentences. Finally as an optional reinforcement the student may link to a game to practice the four different types of sentences. This interactive game/activity has  dice animation your students will enjoy.   The Alphabet - Numerical dice game will help students develop phonemic awareness and word recognition by creating three,four, five and six letter words while using their math skills as well.  Place any combination of dice (vowels, consonants , blends, or consonant digraphs ) onto the  specific leveled game board. Write the letter and it's numerical value in the boxes. Add the addends to create the sum. Ask students to fill in their game sheet/ student worksheet  and create as many words as the can.
