Reading about Main Idea and Supporting Details is a Smart Notebook file that is aligned to the Common Core State Standards that ranges from second to fourth grade.Within this smartboard lesson/activity file the students will be able to identify  key skills in finding the meaning of the main idea with supporting details and why it is important to find the main idea with supporting details in  both fiction and nonfiction passages. Through completing a graphic organizer and writing about their reading that allows students to determine the main idea of a text and explain how it is supported by key details to summarize the text. This  multi-level  interactive activity/lesson was developed to increase proficiency with working with function tables using addition and subtraction  for   grades 2-3 This lesson can be used as an initial lesson or reinforcement of skills taught. There are seven function tables with drag and drop animation. The lesson includes: student activity sheet, directions, answer key, objectives, and Core Content Standards implemented in this lesson.
